Knowledge Graph
The Knowledge Graph is a live, interactive map of your entire codebase — every file, API, service, and dependency. Every agent action in Alfred is grounded in this graph. No hallucinations.
Navigating the graph
Open the Knowledge Graph panel from the left sidebar (or press G). Each node represents a module, API, or service. Edges show dependencies and call relationships.
- Click a nodeJump directly to the source file in your editor.
- Hover a nodeSee a summary: file path, exports, callers, and last PR that touched it.
- Right-clickOpen context menu — view commit history, open in GitHub, or attach to a task.
- Search (⌘K)Find any symbol, file, or API endpoint in the graph instantly.
Source citations
Every suggestion Alfred or any agent makes includes a source citation— a direct link to the Knowledge Graph node (and by extension, the source file) the suggestion is based on. If an agent can't trace a suggestion to a real node, it doesn't make the suggestion. This eliminates hallucinations at the architecture level.
How the graph stays current
The graph refreshes automatically when:
- A PR is merged to main
- A new file is added to the repo
- An API endpoint is added, changed, or removed
- An Orchestrator Shard merge completes
Manual refresh is available via the sync button (⟳) in the graph toolbar. Indexing typically completes in under 30 seconds for codebases up to 500k lines.
